How to grow your Pinterest

You might have noticed that over the last couple of weeks I’ve been working on Pinterest quite a lot – well actually I haven’t spent lots of time doing it but I grew my Pinterest pretty quickly. Today I’m sharing my top tips on how to grow your Pinterest with you!

As I said this is the minimal effort maximum outcome type of way. So don’t worry, you won’t have to create tons of new content or figure out the algorithm every month :)

In this post I’ll be sharing the basics with you. If you want more in depth information take a look at my E-Book: How to skyrocket your Pinterest (English).

In the image above you can see my growth from May 12th to May 19th, so over the course of a week my views went from 176 to 3,2k – today, less than a month later, I’m at 24k. Show me another platform that you can achieve that with! But now let’s get into my tips…

1 — Post consistently. If you have a business account you can schedule your Pins. 🗓 One per day, or a couple every week are perfect. I usually do this once every two weeks and it takes me about half an hour to schedule all my Pins for the upcoming two weeks.

2 — Switch to a business account to get all the analytics and insights 📈 on what performs best. I love watching my views go up and I think it’s really interesting to see what Pins do best. If you notice a common theme within your best Pins stick to that. For example if all your best Pins have the keyword “posing ideas” in it, I suggest using this keyword a little more often.

3 — Share your Instagram posts to Pinterest. 🔄 This way you don’t have to create all new content for the platform. If I have some extra time I do this additionally to my scheduled posts. This also helps your Instagram posts to gain a little more reach.

4 — Pinterest is a search engine 🔎 it works completely different than other Social Media. The longer your content is up the more views/clicks/engagement it will get. Sometimes a piece will get very few views the first weeks, but sky rocket 🚀 after a couple of months! Key words are also more important than Hashtags, so try to write searchable captions and only use a couple of Hashtags.
